A guided 5-hour workshop, with a morning and half-hour lunch break. Bring along 2 to 3 items, a piece of clothing, a bag, soft toy or anything else you’d like to mend, personalise or embellish. Using simple sashiko-inspired stitching, children can repair holes, cover marks or simply give something they already own a fresh new look.
A relaxed and creative small-group session with plenty of individual guidance. No previous sewing experience needed.

Through simple hand-stitching techniques, participants will learn how to repair, decorate, and reimagine fabric. Please bring 2 - 3 items to work on. Suitable items include jeans, jackets, sweatshirts, fabric bags and soft toys, non-stretch materials work well. We’ll help each child decide how best to mend or transform their piece.
A fun, screen-free day of stitching, creativity and giving treasured things a new lease of life.
The workshop encourages creativity, patience, and sustainable making in a relaxed and supportive environment. No previous sewing experience is needed.
